Here are some of the reasons why Egg Farmers of Canada was selected as one of National Capital Region's Top Employers (2025):
- Egg Farmers of Canada encourages employee volunteerism with two paid days off each year to volunteer and the annual Get Cracking award to reward employees for their efforts (the organization makes a donation to a charity of the recipient's choosing) -- in the past year, the association donated over four million eggs to Food Banks Canada
- Egg Farmers of Canada provides maternity leave top-up payments for new mothers (to 70 per cent of salary for up to two weeks), followed by a parental top-up for new mothers, fathers and adoptive parents (70 per cent of salary up to 15 weeks)
- Egg Farmers of Canada encourages employees to assist with recruitment by offering new employee referral bonuses, to $500 for each successful hire
