- University of Calgary supports a Presidential Task Force on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility with a mandate to undertake consultative engagements with the university's representative bodies and wider communities, conduct internal and external research, analyze EDI data, and make recommendations for the adoption of an institutional strategy and action and implementation plan
- University of Calgary participates in the inclusive excellence cluster hiring initiative, which aims to create more equitable pathways for underrepresented groups -- as part of its commitment, the university will hire 45 diverse and qualified academics across 12 faculties over the next three years
- Through University of Calgary's Q Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity, 2SLGBTQIA+ employees and allies are provided a safe space, as well as access to peer support, resources, and opportunities to volunteer in the local community
